Julie Jacobs, LPC- the founder of Windhorse Counseling. Julie is a licensed professional counselor that graduated from Argosy University in 2004. Julie worked in private practice, making home visits. She then joined the Kyrene School District, where she has been a middle school counselor for the past thirteen years. As a school counselor she engaged her students with individual, group and preventative counseling services. Julie's therapeutic methods include play therapy, sand tray therapy, CBT and EMDR therapy. She also is trained through hospice in grief therapy.
