Cancer is scary and complicated. As an Onco-hospitalist, diagnosis is utmost—but I see communication and teaching as my primary responsibilities. Sure, proper diagnosis and treatment are paramount, but I pride myself on explaining complex diseases and treatment options in simple understandable terms.
