General Description

My favorite part of my job is the connections I build with patients. Medicine is both an art and a science. And while science stimulates me intellectually, it's the art of medicine is what fascinates me. There's an art to establishing close connections with patients. And I feel privileged to be part of their lives and to be trusted with details of their health and lives, and to help them heal and help them to become better versions of themselves. I do plan to connect closely with my patients to establish close interpersonal connections beyond the science of it. The relationship part is the art of healing -- it occurs when we connect with our patients emotionally and spiritually. Those ways are very important and it's my privilege to be connected with my patients in those ways.
