Dr. Cohan grew up in Philadelphia, PA, completed his undergraduate education at Amherst College (1982), did post-graduate research on a scholarship at Cambridge University (1983) and received his M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine (1987). Dr. Cohan is board-certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and completed full recertification in Internal Medicine in 2001 and again in 2011.
