General Description

The imagined idea behind the restaurant design is that we bought a small beachside cottage built in the 30â€²s or 40â€²s. We had a little money left over and so we put in a killer stainless kitchen and filled the rest of it with comfy though modern furnishings and accents. Everywhere we could have a window, we put one. Our desire is to bring the outside in. We added a lovely covered patio for when friends come to visit. We planted vines and herbs and let them run wild. Comfortably urban. Cool enough for a date. Relaxed enough for a bite before a movie. Wherever feasible, we have used recycled materials and environmentally friendly products.The majority of our produce comes fresh picked daily from Scarborough Farms in Oxnard, where Wayne, Anne and the rest of the family grow things naturally. Our dedication to using only the finest ingredients extends not only to the raw products but to everything else we use in our recipes â€“ cold pressed olive oils, mustards, vinegars, cheeses and wonderful nuts and ground spices all help bring you the best dishes we can make.reads are made fresh daily by artisinal bakeries who, like us, are dedicated to using the finest ingredients available for their products. Our desserts are baked at the restaurants every day.
