Prior to joining Saint Agnes Care, Dr. Sharma was Chief of colon and rectal surgery and Medical Director of the Nationally Accredited Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC) at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. Dr. Sharma became interested in colon and rectal surgery after witnessing a family member deal with a colorectal condition. She believes patient comfort comes first and provides her patients with all the information required to make an informed decision.
