General Description

The mental health community has been a deeply personal and meaningful space in my own life, and that experience is what inspired me to pursue a career where I could give back through compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care. Seeing firsthand how mental health challenges can impact individuals, families, and loved ones gave me a profound appreciation for the importance of feeling truly heard and supported by a provider. My background began in critical care nursing, where I developed the ability to build trust quickly and support patients through some of their most vulnerable moments. Over time I transitioned into specialized psychiatric settings including residential treatment, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization programs, which deepened my commitment to individualized, holistic mental health care and reinforced my belief that no two patients or healing journeys are ever the same. When working with patients, my approach combines medication management with CBT-informed techniques, supportive psychotherapy, mindfulness practices, and lifestyle strategies tailored to each individual. I have a particular passion for anxiety-related disorders and mood disorders, and I strive to make sure every patient fully understands their diagnosis and feels empowered in their treatment decisions.
