In addition to being the founder of SoCal Foot Care, Dr. Berenter is a recognized leader and innovator of cutting-edge techniques in bunion and forefoot surgery. He began practicing medicine in 1985. Since then, Dr. Berenter has brought world-class foot and ankle care to Southern California. He also was the first podiatrist to operate at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California, where he served as the first Chief of Podiatry in the Orthopedic Department.
