The organization soon became an approved collector with Cal Recycle in 2005 and experienced exponential growth over the subsequent decade, opening 3 processing facilities in Ontario and establishing GLS, a sister company that processes hazardous CRT glass. Cal Micro’s strict adherence to State and Federal regulations, superior customer service, and innovation were the primary elements that contributed to the company’s rapid growth. With the knowledge and experience that Cal Micro had gained through electronics recycling, the company introduced new services, such as product destruction and on-site document destruction, to provide a one-stop environmental waste source for a wide range of clients.
