Through the years, GMS has continued to outlinGMS Elevator Services has a long history in the vertical transportation industry spanning four generations. GMS Elevator Services was originally founded in 1987 by G. Mathew Simpkins, Pamela Simpkins, and Gordon Simpkins and incorporated in 1992. In 2003, GMS Elevator was pleased to introduce the fourth generation elevator mechanic Nathen Simpkins to the company. GMS Elevator Services began manufacturing custom elevator equipment and hydraulics.
