After receiving her undergraduate degree from Stanford University, Dr. Lin pursued her medical and surgical training on the east coast, where she completed her residency in general surgery at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and fellowship in endocrine surgery at the Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital.
