Denise is originally from Colorado, in fact, she graduated from Broomfield High School. Denise began her medical career as an emergency medicine nurse. It was during this time in her career, she was encouraged by a group of doctors to become a Nurse Practitioner. She went back to school and earned a Master of Nursing from Regis University.
