Ashley Marton, M.D.C.M., is a hematologist and medical oncologist at the Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute Boynton Beach location, part of Baptist Health Cancer Care. Before joining Baptist Health, Dr. Marton was a hematologist and medical oncologist at Hôpital de la Cité-de-la-Santé in Laval, Québec, Canada, and an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Montreal. She also served as site director for breast cancer and gastrointestinal cancers. Dr. Marton is actively involved in clinical research and has served as a principal investigator and sub-investigator for numerous oncology clinical trials. Her research interests include improving access to new therapies through clinical trials, integrating new cancer treatments into care, optimizing medical resources and exploring the role of artificial intelligence in medicine. Dr. Marton’s care philosophy is rooted in collaboration, patient education and shared decision-making. She views the physician-patient relationship as an equal partnership and takes time to ensure patients understand their diagnosis, prognosis and treatment options. By aligning clinical evidence with each patient’s values, lifestyle and goals, she helps patients make confident, informed decisions about their care. Dr. Marton is fluent in English and French. When she is not treating patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, doing yoga and staying fit.
