SBC institute is a non profit membership research organization with register number 441260 specialised in Biomedicine, Management, Health care management and Chemistry in Greece, founded in April 1995 and now is an american institution established in Florida USA and remains non profit organization under section 501(c)(3). Is member of National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN/LM). SBC costitute a pionneer institution scientific information, which correspondents pattens have been estimated successful in countries of E.E, such for the validity of resources and the system's effectivity, as for the emmediacy which be rewuired for the concilation and its members.The aim of the SBC Institute consists the promotion of his activities in the sectors of information and research. Specifically, its aim is: a) the benefit of information and research in the sectors of Biomedicine, Social Sciences and Chemistry, b) the collaboration with institutions and Organizations of Interior and Abroad and c) the Attendance of programs and World congresses that concern the science of information and research in the sectors that the Institute cover. The Institute informs round a big number of subjects, World journalism from 1966 till today, Completed articles, Full text articles. SBC has approximately 3.500 e-journals, text books and (full-text) e-books. Practical handbooks of World Congresses, CITATION INDEXES, Online connections with Academic centres in the United States Germany and Italy. Its library ( Storm Memorial Library ) participates in EIFL (http://www.eifl.net/),working in collaboration with libraries in more than 60 developing and transition countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America, EIFL enables access to knowledge for education, learning, research and sustainable community development. EIFL is an international not-for-profit organisation based in Europe with a global network of partners. The library participates in NILDE (https://nilde.bo.cnr.it/), an online service that allows libraries to request and supply documents in a reciprocal manner. NILDE was conceived in 2001 by The Library of the Area of CNR (Italian National Research Council) in Bologna in the context of the "CNR BiblioMIME" project. Since then, it has been used by an increasingly growing network of libraries that have stimulated its continuous development and the growth of innovative features. Also participates in ILL SBN, a cooperative interlibrary loan and document delivery national library service (Servizio Bibliotecario Nazionale - SBN), the network Italian libraries promoted by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, with the cooperation of regional administrations and universities. It is coordinated by the Central Institute for the Union Catalogue of Italian Libraries and for Bibliographic Information (ICCU).For libraries in USA , the charge: 1. For copies : 5.00 USD or half Voucher per article from SBC library holdings and 11.00 USD from other libraries. Comment : Charge applies only to those who charge us. 2. For loan : 20.00 USD per loan or 1 IFLA Voucher. Comment : Charge applies only to those who charge us. The lending period is usually 3 weeks + 1 week renewal. There is no charge for copies and loan for libraries in USA who are participant in the LVIS program (Libraries Very Interested in Sharing) or have reciprocal agreement (you may download the agreement signed and return it by fax or email) for interlibrary loan with non charge with the SBC library. The library participate also in the FreeForAll , an international collaboration of libraries whose mission is to provide underserved nations with health science journal articles for free.
