My name is Dianne Goede, MD, and I am an associate professor of medicine within the division of general internal medicine. I received my medical degree from the University of South Florida and completed my residency and chief residency in internal medicine at the University of Florida. I am the first physician in my extended family and was inspired to become a doctor because I sought to understand disease and apply that knowledge to improve patient's lives. As a general internist, I care for the patient comprehensively. I assess the entire state of an individual's health and help manage multiple chronic medical conditions at once. I am drawn towards internal medicine because I enjoy all of the subspecialties.
