Hello, my name is Kathryn E Wheeler, and I am an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida. I received my undergraduate degree from Florida State University and my medical doctorate from St. George's University. I completed my pediatric residency and a chief residency year at the University of Florida, followed by a year of fellowship training in Pediatric Hematology Oncology at Duke University. After completing my training, I practiced as a general pediatrician for several years in North Carolina and Nashville, Tennessee. I also spent two years as a hospitalist in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Vanderbilt University.
