General Description

As a former high school All-American athlete and collegiate baseball player, I recognized how important sports and exercise were to people. I decided to enter the field of orthopaedics and sports medicine because I became intrigued by helping patients get back to doing the activities they love. Currently, I am a professor at the University of Florida Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine and a team physician for the UF Athletic Association. I earned my medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2003 before going on to complete a residency in orthopaedic surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
