General Description

My name is Martin Back, MD, and my interests in cardiovascular physiology and technological innovations managing vascular diseases led me to become vascular surgeon. I am a professor of surgery and the chief of the University of Florida division of vascular surgery and endovascular therapy, and take a special interest in leading a vascular team. I treat patients for complex vascular conditions and my research interest is in complex aortic intervention. I earned my medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and I completed a general surgery residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and a peripheral vascular surgery fellowship at the UF College of Medicine.
