My name is Matthew Burns, MD, PhD, and I am a board-certified neurologist and movement disorders specialist at the Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases at UF Health, serving as an assistant professor in the University of Florida Department of Neurology. I received my medical and doctorate degrees from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago in 2012. I went on and completed my neurology residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center in 2018 and my movement disorders fellowship at UF in 2021.
