General Description

My name is Nash Moawad, MD, MS, and I am the Chief of the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) in the department of obstetrics and gynecology. I specialize in laparoscopic, robotic and hysteroscopic surgery, particularly for excision of advanced endometriosis and the treatment of uterine fibroids, abnormal bleeding and chronic pelvic pain. I also utilize minimally invasive techniques for conservative fertility sparing and fertility promoting surgery. Unlike the traditional pathway of developing an interest in a subspecialty in residency training, my interest and passion for MIGS early in my career led me to pursue a second residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
