Robert Amdur, MD, is the Rodney R Million Professor of Radiation Oncology in the department of radiation oncology at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr Amdur pursued both his medical degree and residency in radiation oncology at UF. Then, he completed is fellowship in radiobiology at Colorado State University. Dr Amdur's extensive research skills has led to the publication of hundreds of articles in medical journals and authorship of three books. His current research focuses on improving treatment for patients with tumors of the head and neck, and his clinical interests include brain tumors, spine tumors, head and neck cancer, and thyroid cancer.
