Steven Cuffe, MD, FACPsych, is the chair of the department of psychiatry at University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville, and program director of the General Psychiatry Residency Program. He built a strong clinical department during his years as chair, as well as the first ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency Program in Jacksonville. He received his medical degree from Wake Forest University and completed general and child psychiatry training at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr Cuffe's research focuses on the prevalence, risk and protective factors, and treatment of mental disorders in children.
