General Description

Anabel Botwinick, M.D., is an internal medicine physician with Baptist Health Concierge Medicine. Dr. Botwinick’s practice centers on women’s health across the lifespan, with a special interest in perimenopause and menopause management, including early menopause, cancer survivorship and comprehensive menopause care. She also provides comprehensive primary care for adults, with an emphasis on preventive medicine and partnering with patients to identify and address risk factors before disease develops. As part of her collaboration with Baptist Health Cancer Care, Dr. Botwinick will provide specialized menopause care through the Women’s Cancer Center for women undergoing cancer treatment, cancer survivors and patients participating in high-risk screening programs. During her internal medicine residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System/Veterans Affairs, Dr. Botwinick became a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner and conducted research examining gaps in menopause education in graduate medical training. She also developed a dedicated women’s health elective for internal medicine residents and began additional training in functional medicine. Dr. Botwinick earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Alongside her residency training, she completed a clinical scholar fellowship with the Academy for Advanced Women’s Health Medicine, where she received advanced training in women’s health and menopause care. She is a member of The Menopause Society, Alpha Omega Alpha, Iron Arrow Honor Society and Sigma Xi Honor Society. Dr. Botwinick believes good care starts with truly knowing her patients. She takes time to listen closely, understand their health histories and goals, and ground her recommendations in evidence. She is committed to providing thoughtful, personalized care, particularly during complex health transitions when patients may benefit from additional guidance, support and time. Outside the office, Dr. Botwinick enjoys baking, hosting dinner parties, visiting national parks, strength training and spending time with her husband and family.
