Throughout his career, Dr. Diaz has been committed to serving minority and underserved communities. He previously served as medical director and attending psychiatrist for a homeless outreach program affiliated with Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he collaborated closely with interdisciplinary teams to expand access to mental healthcare and support individuals facing significant social and medical challenges. His approach to care is collaborative and individualized. Dr. Diaz believes in partnering with patients to understand their goals, preferences and life context before developing a treatment plan.
