General Description

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work Intern. I am passionate about working with a variety of populations with a multitude of backgrounds to bring healing throughout the counseling process. I believe in the importance of empowering clients through a collaborative effort that draws on client’s personal strengths to establish goals. My goal is to meet clients where they are in their lives and utilize different modalities in counseling such as talk therapy, bibliotherapy, art therapy, and more. I have found that children and adolescents respond to approaches that offer active participation in the forms of play therapy to overcome struggles such as anxiety or depression.
