All of our food contains the freshest quality ingredients available and it"s so fresh that we get deliveries on a daily basis. Our wide selection of toppings, dressings, and proteins are unmatched and the reason our salads & sandwiches are the talk of the town. In addition to our amazing food we strive to make each and every visit to Designer Greens a wonderful experience through smiling faces and helpful customer service. Designer Greens was founded in 2006 and opened it inaugural location near the University of Central Florida in February 2007. Fresh out of college and at the age of 23 owner/founder Steven Kay had the entrepreneurial bug and decided to set his sights on opening a restaurant that would take the traditional salad and turn it into a menu item that would take the restaurant industry by storm. With the help of his parents, brother, and friends Steven opened Designer Greens Orlando to huge fan fare. Just over two years later in March 2009 Designer Greens opened its second location across from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
