General Description

Troop 1030 is a newly founded Troop in Historic Punta Gorda, Florida chartered by American Legion Post 103. We run an active year round program, including monthly trips, camping, and an annual week at summer camp and winter camp. ?Troop 1030 is Scout led to prepare our young men to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. ?Our fun and exciting program and outdoor adventures prepare the youth in our community for a lifetime of character, independence, citizenship, leadership, camaraderie, team work and outdoor skills all in accordance with the principles of Scouting, focusing on traditional skills and values of pioneering and frontiersman-ship.
