Born and raised in Moca, Puerto Rico, Dr. Cordero attended college at The University of Puerto Rico, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology and Science. He continued his medical studies at Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Bayamon, Puerto Rico where he received a Doctorate in Medicine. Dr. Cordero participated in research studies at Rutgers University in New Jersey and at Columbia University’s New York State Psychiatric Institute.
