Dr. Murthy completed his internal medicine internship/residency and cardiology fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and its subspecialty Board of Cardiovascular Disease. He, his wife, Dr. Geetha Rao, and their son and daughter live in Peachtree City. In his spare time, he enjoys backpacking, international travel and canoeing.
