General Description

Cira Photography and Design was founded in June of 2013 by Amy Morris, a freelance photographer and graphic designer. Her goal for Cira is to have a place to share photographs capturing the beauty of historic locations and cultural events from around the world. Her love of photography spills into her hobbies of cooking and astronomy (Yes! She cooked the food, photographed it, then her family ate it)! In 2012, her images of the Sun taken with a program called MicroObservatory, were included in a special exhibit at Tellus Science Museum in Cartersville, GA. This inspired the name Cira which is a girls name meaning Sun. She has great passion for studying religions, science, history and archaeology which has driven her to travel extensively throughout the US visiting National Parks, Monuments and historical places of significance for Native Americans and the colonization and formation of the US. Her travels also include several European countries, Mexico, Canada and South America.
