General Description

We are a therapy and counseling practice in Downtown Chicago, providing mental health services to adults of all backgrounds dealing with a wide range of experiences and issues. We believe that emotional, and relational challenges are part of what makes us human, not signs that there is something “wrong” with us. We help our clients get to the root of what troubles them, so that change and growth can occur from within. We believe in the importance of a non-judgmental therapeutic relationship as a space where people can feel fully accepted, make sense of their experiences, and find a path to healing and hope We provide therapy and counseling for anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-doubt and self-esteem issues, shame, loss and grief, or identity issues. We also help individuals who have experienced ongoing complex trauma, or are dealing with work-life balance issues, life transitions, cultural adjustment. Fermata provides individual therapy in person in downtown Chicago and virtually throughout Illinois. We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans. If you have a different plan, we will provide the documentation you need to seek reimbursement from your insurance.
