This included six months of specialized pediatric training at Shriners Hospital for Children-Chicago. He is obtained Board Certification upon completing his residency and re-certified through 2023. Dr. Komnick has been married for 25 years and has two adult children. His daughter, a senior at University of Illinois has the goal of attending medical school after graduation. His interests include following all sports, golf, travel and spending time with his family.
