Board-certified Physician Assistant Ishani Patel was born and raised in the Northwest suburbs of Illinois and received her bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois, and then headed out to the east coast to Albany Medical College for her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Following graduation in 2010, Ishani began her career as a physician assistant at a fast-paced emergency room (ER). After about two years of experience in the ER, Ishani got the opportunity to pursue her passion in dermatology. She practiced at a dermatology clinic in New Jersey before relocating back to her home state of Illinois, closer to her family. Ishani is an experienced PA-C with years of practicing medical and cosmetic dermatology. Her medical interests include acne, psoriasis, skin cancer treatment, and surgical procedures, while her cosmetic interests include BOTOX®, RADIESSE®, and Restylane®. She enjoys and takes pride in providing personalized care to both adult and pediatric patients.
