Yakos Therapy was started by a bilingual speech-language pathologist in 2013. Since then, our team has grown to include occupational therapy and counseling services. Our clinic specializes in pediatric therapy providing family centered therapy with parent training and home program emphasized as a crucial part of progress and achievement of goals. Parents are involved in the therapy process and the needs of the family are considered in treatment planning. We are currently accepting new patients. Our therapists are committed to continued learning and have training in SOS Feeding Therapy, PROMPT, DTTC, PECS, AAC, Bilingual Assessments and Therapy, Sensory, Writing and Social Language. We provide therapy using play coupled with evidenced based treatment strategies.
