Embers Academy is a private, independent school, rooted in the Catholic Faith, serving grades Pre-Kindergarten through Fifth. Awards

Embers Academy is the recipient of both the 2016 Illinois and the National School of Character Award. In addition, the "Promising Practice" that Embers is proud to acclaim is our 'Morning Meeting' which is how all grades begin their day, everyday. The 'Morning Meeting' includes prayers; the Pledge of Allegiance; and the reading of a book, grade-level appropriate, that incorporates the Virtue of the Month. This is one way Embers instills virtues -- through literacy.
