My love for art and science drew me to the medical field. As a specialty, obstetrics and gynecology includes many facets of women’s healthcare from preventative health and surgical intervention to prenatal care and the management of labor and delivery. Quincy is my hometown and it is amazing to work in a state of the art healthcare system near family and friends. Putting the patient at ease by combining clinical competency with empathy is an important part of every visit. Taking a holistic approach, I always consider the spiritual and emotional needs that often accompany the physical findings. When appropriate, I believe that laughter is often the best medicine. Every woman wants a physician in whom she can trust and confide. I strive to be that type of provider. From the first pap smear through pregnancy, delivery and later managing other gynecological concerns, I have the opportunity to form lasting relationships with my patients.
