General Description

Dr. Manu’s journey in medicine began with a love for science and for his grandfather. “Granddad developed prostate cancer. His doctor excluded us - as the family from the whole process. That is what led to my decision to go into medicine, to make sure that when I treated patients their families were involved.” As an internal medicine specialist, Dr. Manu enjoys the variety of conditions he treats. “Internal medicine is head to toe. I like that.” And his personality helps develop a strong bond with patients. “I am a good, active listener; a curious person, conscientious, approachable and friendly.” Dr. Manu enjoys being an internist on the Hospital Medicine team. In addition to medicine, Dr. Manu’s other passion is music. He enjoys jazz, classical and gospel music. As a teenager Dr.Manu played in church, in college he accompanied the choir, and he continues playing today. “It’s extremely relaxing.
