General Description

Found in 2011, QC Counselor is a place where you have a friend. We provide a warm, welcoming environment with friendly, professional therapists. QC Counselors was founded by psychotherapist Rick Martenson, who wanted to reinvent the counseling experience. He found that visiting most counselors felt like visiting a doctor's office and that feeling made it more difficult for visitors to engage with their counselors. To remedy this, Rick set-out to create a practice that felt more like visiting a friend and, thus, QC Counselor was created. Everything we do is designed to make the counseling experience more comfortable. The furnishings in the office were carefully chosen to help you feel as if you are in a living room, with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate part located next to a water cooler and soda and snack vending machines. The individual therapists model their offices after sitting rooms in a home to take the experience even further. We currently have 9 therapists on staff--each diverse in their areas of expertise to make it easier to find someone to connect with.
