She received her undergraduate degree in Biology at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. She went on to earn her medical degree at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. Dr. Hensley completed a residency in anesthesiology at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System and a fellowship in cardiac anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She specializes in Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology.
