Her areas of clinical expertise are fetal and pediatric cardiology, echocardiography and noninvasive imagingAfter receiving her undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago, Dr. Sekar earned a master’s degree in public health from George Washington University. She received her medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science/Chicago Medical School. She completed her general pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Oakland and performed her pediatric cardiology fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She was a fetal/perinatal cardiology and clinical research fellow at the University of Alberta/Stollery Children's Hospital.Dr. Sekar was a fetal/perinatal cardiology and clinical research fellow at the University of Alberta/Stollery Children's Hospital.
