Dr. Vidhu Vadini is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Vadini is actively engaged in advancing knowledge in bone and mineral disorders, and diabetes through research, teaching, and participation in professional organizations. Dr. Vadini grew up in the Himalayan state of Himachal Pradesh, India. While attending medical school at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, she developed a strong foundation in Internal Medicine, and participated in community health initiatives. She moved to the US in 2020 attending internal medicine residency at the University of Arkansas and endocrinology fellowship at Johns Hopkins. This exposed her to the field of endocrinology through clinical research, quality improvement initiatives and participation in the American College of Physicians, American Diabetes Association and the Endocrine Society. Her clinical focus includes metabolic bone disorders, type 2 diabetes, diabetes technology, type 1 diabetes in pregnancy, and monogenic diabetes.
