She received her optometric doctorate from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University with the distinction of Gold Key Honor Society induction. She also completed extensive training at Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, Walter Reed Medical Center, and The Eye Institute of Philadelphia.
