A graduate of the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Dr. Matthew Bean always loved science and wanted to help others. This helped lead him to a career in medicine. During his medical training, he chose to practice in Internal Medicine. He enjoys getting to know to his patients on a personal level. As a board-certified internist, Dr. Bean enjoys caring for patients with many different health problems, whether of the heart, pulmonary system, or GI tract. He finds it very rewarding when he can make a big difference in a patient's life. He believes that preventative care is the best way to ward off chronic disease.
