General Description

Dr. Robert Kossack graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. His work in the Peace Corps in Nepal inspired him to become a pediatrician. He enjoys the challenge of caring for children of all ages and teaching families how many childhood illnesses improve with time and careful monitoring. As well as urgent concerns, Dr. Kossack helps families with schoolrelated issues, mental health needs, and ADHD evaluations. He believes in thoughtful use of medicine and close teamwork with families. Outside of work, he stays active by running, hiking, and skiing, and enjoys photography, drawing, and spending time with his wife and children.
