It was his vision to provide the local residents with economical insurance protection with a personal touch. Succeeded by his son, Richard Scott, from 1976 – 2001 the agency continued to grow. Under Richard’s leadership, John Scott Insurance became respected as a leading insurance agency in Southwest Michigan. Today, under the direction of third generation owners Todd and Amy (Scott) Marazita, the agency has expanded their carrier representation to offer their clients more options. John Scott Insurance currently conducts business in Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana, providing business owners and families with an experienced and licensed staff of agents. “Putting the needs of our clients above all else has remained our number one priority,” says third generation owner Amy Scott-Marazita. “…Our goal is to give our clients the personal attention and service they’ve come to expect, even though we have experienced significant growth,” continued Marazita.
