Dr Qi chose a career in pediatrics because she enjoys making a positive impact on her patients and their families. She believes it is rewarding as it centers around promoting the health, development and well-being of children and adolescents. She comes to work every day to make a positive impact on young lives. As a pediatric newborn hospital specialist, Dr Qi works with all newborns born at Bronson Methodist Hospital or Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. However, she has a special interest in researching population genetics, medical genetics, asthma and allergies. Outside of work, she enjoys mentoring youth, gardening, reading and watching movies.
