3-D CNC is a precision tooling shop that specializes in designing and building, prototypes, automated manufacturing equipment, computer numerically controlled machining and grinding, electrical discharge machined components and tooling assemblies. When the company was established in 1989, it focused on three-dimensional machining and five-axis wire EDM. With its state-of-the-art equipment, 3-D is capable of producing tools, jigs, precision gauges, custom electrical control panels, robotics and pneumatic, hydraulic and servo systems for customers in the computer, medical, industrial equipment, electronic and aerospace industries. Approximately 35 people work at the company s 14,500-square-foot manufacturing facility in Hutchinson, Minn.
