Since 1990, The Red Sea Ethiopian Restaurant has been a destination for authentic Ethiopian & Eritrean food in Minneapolis. Our menu features a wide variety of flavorful dishes, including many vegetarian options. Located on Cedar Avenue in Minneapolis' West Bank, near Washington Avenue and 35W, The Red Sea has a full bar with a daily Happy Hour from 4 to 9 pm. Check our Events page often to find out when your favorite local band or DJ is going to be featured on our stage. We have a state-of-the-art sound system and a large dance floor so you can dance the night away. Just here for the delicious food? Our restaurant has a separate entrance so you can enjoy a peaceful meal, but feel free to move next door should the mood strike.
