General Description

The body was designed to move efficiently, but unfortunately our world does not lend itself to promoting the longevity of our design. Everything we generally do is in front of us and most of us have a dominant side that gets used more than the other. We sit in furniture or cars and at desks constantly and rarely use the full range of joint motion for which our body has full potential. Largely because of this, we tend to become asymmetric in our movements and consequently lose the ability to move through the full range in our joints. In time, this leads to compensatory patterns, wear and tear on our tissue and resultant pain. Each person's pattens are unique and need to be evaluated as such.
