Originally from Southern Alberta, Canada, Dr. Blumell moved to Provo, Utah for his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. Dr. Blumell completed his residency in rural clinical medicine at Mercy One in Des Moines, Iowa. A board certified physician, Dr. Blumell’s clinical interests include acute, urgent and chronic care.“I became a family physician because I am passionate about serving and helping patients.
